I’m committed to fiercely safeguarding reproductive freedom, steadfast against the relentless onslaught of extreme Republican assaults, which even extend to the audacious attempt of imposing a national abortion ban.
Yet, our commitment to women’s health must extend beyond defending reproductive rights. We must address the stark racial disparities in maternal mortality rates, ensuring that women of color receive the care and support they deserve. Additionally, we must champion comprehensive policies that guarantee maternity leave, recognizing the vital importance of nurturing both the physical and emotional well-being of mothers and their newborns.
